Out of an abundance of caution, the University of Florida will be closed Wednesday, Sept. 28 through Friday, Sept. 30, because of Hurricane Ian. Only essential university personnel should report for work during that time. Additionally, the university announced Monday that classes and all academic and student-related activities, including online classes, are canceled Wednesday through Friday.
