University of Florida officials are actively monitoring Hurricane Milton, which is expected to affect the west coast of Florida by midweek. While the storm’s exact path remains unclear, here is what we know today: The majority of the Florida Gulf Coast was placed under a Hurricane Watch or Warning by the National Hurricane Center as of its 5 a.m. advisory on Monday. University of Florida officials are actively monitoring Tropical Storm Milton, which is expected to impact the west coast of Florida by midweek. While the storm’s exact path remains unclear, here is what we know today: On Sunday, the National Hurricane Center made a slight adjustment to the track of Tropical Storm Milton as the storm’s eyewall formed and became better organized overnight. University of Florida officials are actively monitoring Tropical Storm Milton, which is expected to impact the west coast of Florida by midweek. While the storm’s exact path is unclear, here is what we know today: The National Hurricane Center began issuing advisories on Saturday after the system became better organized overnight.
