University of Florida officials are actively monitoring a weather system involving severe thunderstorms and strong winds expected to move across North Florida on Tuesday afternoon. The university plans to remain open on Tuesday.

Students, faculty, and staff should closely monitor forecasts and be prepared to follow guidance from local officials. Faculty and supervisors should accommodate commuters and those impacted by any K-12 school closures.

If unable to be on campus tomorrow, students and employees should reach out to their respective faculty and supervisors.
