UF campus services and events updates
This page, which will be updated regularly, contains a list of campus operations that have been impacted by Tropical Storm Nicole.
Select Florida Fresh Dining halls are open for service throughout the storm. Even if the campus loses power, the university will keep the dining halls open. For a list of open locations and hours of operation, visit https://dineoncampus.com/UF/hurricane-hours.
All Gators athletic events for the weekend of Nov. 12 remain on schedule, including the Florida-South Carolina football game on Saturday at 4 p.m.
Campus tours are canceled on Thursday, Nov. 10.
RecSports facilities are closed on Thursday, Nov. 10. For Veterans Day holiday hours and operations, visit https://recsports.ufl.edu/about/hours/.
The Reitz Union will be closed Thursday and reopen Friday, Nov. 11 at 7 a.m.
Library West will remain closed on Nov. 11 due to the Veterans Day holiday and will reopen on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 9 a.m. For hours of operations all UF libraries, visit: https://libcal.uflib.ufl.edu/hours/.

The Gainesville Regional Transit System (RTS) announced service will resume Friday, Nov. 11, on a holiday service schedule. Additional information is available on the GNVrideRTS app (rideRTS.app), on the RTS Facebook page or the RTS website.
All Alachua County buildings, parks and preserves closed on Thursday, Nov. 10. Parks and preserves will remain closed until staffers have conducted damage assessments after the storm. Additionally, the county canceled its Annual Veterans Day Celebration at Veterans Memorial Park on Friday, Nov. 11 due to the storm.
At 4 p.m., Thursday, Alachua County deactivated its emergency shelters.
