Tropical Storm Mindy – Update #1 – 9/8/2021
University of Florida officials are actively monitoring Tropical Storm Mindy. Here’s what we know today: Mindy is expected to produce heavy rainfall from the Florida Panhandle into southern portions of Georgia and South Carolina through Thursday morning. This rainfall may produce isolated to scattered flash, urban and small stream flooding. Tropical storm warnings have been issued for the coast of the Panhandle and Big Bend from Mexico Beach to the Steinhatchee River, which includes coastal portions of Franklin, Gulf, Jefferson, Wakulla, Lafayette and Taylor Counties.
