Tropical Storm Elsa – Update #7 – 7/7/2021

University of Florida officials are continuing to monitor Tropical Storm Elsa. Here’s what we know today:

Alachua County is currently under tropical storm and flood warnings. However, the current forecast indicates Gainesville is expected to see improving conditions throughout the day.

In-person and online classes at the University of Florida campus in Gainesville are canceled and offices are closed today. Normal operations and classes will resume Thursday, July 8. Shift workers should check with their supervisors regarding scheduling. Those on the UF Health Jacksonville campus and in other locations around the state should check with their supervisors for information regarding their campuses.

UF units outside of Gainesville must continue to follow local guidance.
